What is the best time to visit Manali?

Manali is open for tourists throughout the year. While summers are beautiful with vibrant flowers and greenery everywhere, winters are especially amazing with snow and a plethora of adventure activities. Monsoon is the only season that is not very safe to travel to Himachal due to landslides.

What kind of shoes are suitable for a Manali trip?
